Job Responsibilities:

  1. Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a secure environment.
  2. Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security.
  3. Investigate and report any suspicious activity, incidents, or violations of company policies.
  4. Respond to alarms and emergencies promptly, providing assistance as needed.
  5. Operate surveillance equipment, alarm systems, and monitor security cameras.
  6. Conduct routine checks of doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are secure.
  7. Provide customer service and assist visitors with directions or information.
  8. Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
  9. Enforce regulations, policies, and procedures related to security and safety.
  10. Escort individuals off premises as necessary.
  11. Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency response teams in case of emergencies.

 

Job Qualification:

  1. SPM/Certificate in a related field.
  2. Proven experience as a Security Guard or in a relevant security role.
  3. Ability to operate security systems and emergency equipment.
  4. Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures and protocols.
  5. Strong surveillance skills with a keen attention to detail.
  6. Demonstrates integrity and professionalism.
  7. Basic first aid and CPR certification is a plus.
  8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. Physically capable of standing or walking for extended periods and handling potential confrontational situations.
