A Quality Control Inspector is responsible for making sure that the manufactured products in a particular company or organization are up to standard and adheres to the rules and regulations. Continuously monitor production operations where they manually inspect products, accepting and rejecting those that do not meet the standard quality, and provide recommendations should it be necessary. Moreover, the Quality Control Inspectors coordinates with workers to ensure improvements, and with management to report the results.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Perform 1st piece inspection
    – Initial Machine setup checklist
    – Assembly Process Verification
  2. Plot the Trend chart after perform the inspection (Weaving Process)
  3. First Piece Inspection Report (key-in in SPC template).
  4. Submit First Piece Tag to Engineer for approval.
  5. Inform production on 1st piece approval status.
  6. Perform measurement and visual inspection as per QSI and record the data.
  7. Submit inspection report to Engineer for approval.
  8. Record & maintain inspection report for all inspection carried out.
  9. Accept Goods meets specification by Stamping the packaging box carton’s label.
  10. Revert to superior when non-conformity is found.
  11. Raised non-conforming material report (NCR/NCMR) for quality issue found.
  12. Perform Internal Verification of caliper.
  13. Follow up and review activity Rework, Sorting & scrap.
  14. Perform the testing based on the requirement.
  15. Present product performance based on daily inspection.
  16. Inspect Jig/Equipment PM label.
  17. Perform 5S inspection by respective area.
  18. Station audit on the filing reports.

 

Job Qualification:

  1. Minimum educational certification (e.g., SPM or equivalent).
  2. Knowledge product specification
  3. Basic knowledge Microsoft Excel
  4. Basic knowledge mathematic
  5. Understanding Drawing, BOM, CP & QSI
