Job Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the maintenance and repair of building systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and fire safety systems.
  2. Develop preventive maintenance schedules and ensure routine inspections of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
  3. Ensure that all new installations meet local building codes and are energy-efficient, environmentally sustainable, and cost-effective.
  4. Prepare and manage the budget for facilities maintenance, repairs, and capital improvement projects.
  5. Monitor energy consumption and recommend energy-efficient solutions to reduce operating costs and improve sustainability.
  6. Implement and maintain energy-saving initiatives such as lighting upgrades,HVAC system improvements, or renewable energy installations.
  7. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and implement
    safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  8.  Respond to and investigate facility-related incidents (e.g., equipment
    failure, injuries) and implement corrective actions.
  9. Work with management to optimize facility layout for efficient use of
    space, including office design, storage areas, and production zones.
  10. Integrate building management systems (BMS) for monitoring and
    controlling heating, ventilation, air conditioning, lighting, and security
    systems.

 

Job Qualification:

  1. Chargeman certificate is advance.
  2. Preferably Diploma /Bachelor Degree or 1-2 year working experience in facilities management.
  3. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering.
  4. At least 3 years of experience as a facilities engineer or in a similar role.
  5. Experience with AutoCAD, SAP, and MS Office.
  6. Knowledge of the building process and construction principles.
  7. Knowledge of relevant regulations and building codes.
  8. Good verbal and written communication skills.
  9. Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  10. Project management skills.
