The IT Applications Senior Executive is responsible for developing, testing, and enhancing software applications to meet FOZ One’s business needs. This roleinvolves analyzing requirements, building and integrating applications, troubleshooting, and providing technical support. Additionally, the Senior Executive plays a key role in database monitoring, documentation, and mentoring junior team members to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:

Applications Development & Requirement Analysis

  • Identify and translate business requirements into technical specifications, developing software architecture and design.
  • Assess operational feasibility by evaluating problem definitions, requirements, solutions, and their development processes.
  • Design and develop software solutions by studying information needs, consulting users, analyzing system flows, data usage, and work processes, while adhering to the Software Development Life Cycle
    (SDLC).
  • Build fully functional web applications, ensuring code is clean, maintainable, and reliable.
  • Integrate existing software applications, resolving incompatibilities to achieve smooth platform integration.
  • Manage project timelines to ensure timely delivery of developed applications

Applications Testing & Training

  • Execute test plans and prepare test reports to document program evaluation, testing, and required corrections.
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for completed applications, assessing user experience and identifying improvements.
  • Resolve defects, ensuring system accuracy, integrity, interoperability, and completeness.
  • Provide support throughout the software release lifecycle, validating applications and monitoring performance to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Monitor program performance post-implementation to prevent issues and maintain operational effectiveness.
  • Train both technical and non-technical end-users on the functionality of newly developed applications.

Applications Enhancement & Improvement

  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to enhance performance and reliability.
  • Observe user feedback to suggest and implement improvements in existing software applications.
  • Manage office and production environment applications, improving monitoring and alerting systems to ensure stability and resilience.

Applications Technical Support

  • Provide in-depth (second-level) and expert-level (third-level) technical support for applications.
  • Respond promptly to user inquiries, troubleshooting technical issues or escalating as needed to achieve impactful resolutions.
  • Monitor service level agreements, document technical support services, and provide regular reports to relevant stakeholders.

Applications Database Monitoring

  • Proactively monitor and measure database performance and availability.
  • Implement corrective actions to optimize database performance and maintain high availability.

Documentation

  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive software-related documentation.
  • Ensure control and accessibility of all application development documentation for future reference.

 

Additional Responsibilities

  • Safeguard operations by maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Identify trends and recommend tactical improvements to enhance support, anticipating future business needs and sharing insights across the team.
  • Conduct training sessions and knowledge-sharing activities with junior executives to promote best practices.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering productivity and continuous improvement within the team

Authority 

  • Limited access to TeamApp and MESApp applications, related database servers, and the user domain controller server.
  • Administrative access to TeamApp, MESApp, and the IT Ticketing system

Job Qualification:

  • Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post-Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in IT field.
  • Technical Requirements: Proficiency in OOP, ASP.NET Framework 4.5, C#, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap 4, JavaScript, jQuery, SQL Server, Xamarin, and Restful APIs.
  • Strong problem-solving, logical reasoning, planning, and time management abilities.
  • Effective communication and technical writing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both in teams and independently in a fast paced environment.
  • Demonstrated willingness and eagerness to learn new skills, with a proactive approach to self-improvement.
