Job Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the overall functions of the NPI section.
  2. Monitor new projects for the assembly section during the development stage and guide the NPI team to ensure successful project completion.
  3. Monitor, review, verify, evaluate, and appraise subordinates’ performance.
  4. Monitor, guide, and align the NPI team on any tasks or ad-hoc assignments from management, ensuring their completion by the NPI team.
  5. Monitor and guide the NPI Team during the development stage through to the first Start of Production (SOP).
  6. Review and guide the NPI Team on improvement activities during the development stage to enhance process efficiency, optimize costs, and improve productivity.
  7. Review and guide the NPI team on the preparation of quotation documents related to processes, aiming to optimize costs and investments where possible.
  8. Entertain customer for Buy Off & Audit line production for new projects.
  9. Discuss and follow up with customers on new product requirements and technical issues. Acknowledge customer requirements and expectations and develop a strategy to produce project samples as requested.
  10. Monitor, review, verify, evaluate, and appraise the NPI team’s performance.

 

Job Qualification:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree or higher, preferably in Engineering or Project Management.
  2. More than 7 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, with priority given to experience in Project NPI.
  3. Strong knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management.
  4. Proficient in management skills and computer literacy.
  5. Demonstrated ability to control, supervise, train, and lead a team.
  6. Good knowledge of Project Management techniques and tools.
  7. Direct work experience in project management capacity.
