This role leads and coordinates the DPAP submission process for new product parts, ensuring timely customer approval by collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing documentation, supporting NPI activities, and serving as the main liaison with customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the PLM Submission Team for DPAP of each part to support production readiness.
  2. Assist the team in resolving any issues or stoppages affecting DPAP progress when required.
  3. Coordinate the preparation of DPAP samples for submission with related departments until customer approval is obtained.
  4. Prepare DPAP documents, including Fitting Test Report, Functional Test Report, PSW, DRMS, Appearance Inspection Report, and Material Test Report.
  5. Follow up and compile all DPAP documents prepared by other sections (Quality, Metrology, NPI, Process) to ensure alignment with the customer’s target date.
  6. Monitor the DPAP approval process to ensure completion within the target timeline without impacting the supply schedule.
  7. Coordinate with relevant departments to prioritize DPAP sample trials by optimizing current capacity.
  8. Serve as the main point of contact for customers regarding DPAP readiness and approvals.
  9. Distribute approval reports, approved documents, and sample approvals to the relevant business units and departments.
  10. Maintain the DPAP Master List and the Approved Sample Master List.
  11. Provide support for NPI (New Product Introduction) activities.
  12. Willing to work overtime and be on call when necessary.

 

Job Qualification:

  1. Knowledge of New Product Introduction (NPI)
  2. Knowledge of Project Management
  3. Familiarity with technical drawings, product design, and quality documentation
  4. Understanding of Kaizen and 5S methodologies
  5. Knowledge of plastic injection molding and assembly processes
  6. A team player who can work independently; results-oriented with leadership qualities and strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  8. Excellent communication skills
  9. Ability to explain technical information clearly and understandably
  10. Systematic, well-organized, and possesses good time management skills
  11. Proficient in computer usage
