Job Responsibilities:

  1. Continuously drive packaging improvements to reduce costs, minimize packaging material usage, and optimize pallet space utilization.
  2. Ideally, design and modify equipment or machinery to enhance machine performance and improve quality stability.
  3. Ideally, improve processes to reduce manpower requirements at workstations and enhance ergonomic conditions at work operation stations.
  4. Systematically control equipment in/out records and proactively communicate preventive maintenance servicing due dates to Process Technicians to ensure timely servicing.
  5. Provide & follow up New Equipment Timeline Plans, conduct equipment buy-offs, and summarize findings in comprehensive Equipment Evaluation Reports.
  6. Prepare budgetary submissions for spare part purchases and the fabrication of new equipment based on forecasts and required run tool planning.

 

Job Qualification:

  1. Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  2. At least 2–3 years of work experience in the Plastic Injection field.
  3. Experience in Tooling and Injection Molding processes.
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
