FOZ One is honoured to support the Handing-A-Hand Visit 2024/2025 event organised by by the BIONIC Club of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), a student-led initiative dedicated to designing and customising 3D-printed prosthetic hands for children with limb differences.
We are proud to sponsor this meaningful project, where prosthetic devices, built using advanced 3D-printing technology and open-source models such as the Kinetic Hand and Kinetic Arm by Mat Bowell are developed for young recipients.
Through collaborations like these, we empower students, nurture future biomedical engineers, and help build a more inclusive world for every child.
Our Director of Research, Design & Development, @Patrick Tan, attended the programme’s closing ceremony at UTM Kuala Lumpur to witness the results firsthand and meet the young recipients. Seeing how technology can transform lives, especially for children to reinforces FOZ One’s belief that innovation should always serve a human purpose.
