Job Responsibilities:

1. Supplier Research and Evaluation:

  • Conduct thorough research to assess and evaluate potential suppliers, identifying new vendors and establishing strong, reliable relationships in line with the company’s standard operating procedures.

2. Procurement and Market Analysis:

  • Identify and acquire materials or equipment based on specific project specifications, staying informed about market trends, and regularly comparing prices to ensure cost-effective purchasing.

3. Supplier Negotiation and Collaboration:

  • Negotiate favorable terms and pricing with suppliers, collaborating with cross-functional teams to secure the best delivery schedules, pricing, and quality for the project.

4. Timely Delivery Management:

  • Ensure the timely delivery of materials and equipment from suppliers, proactively following up on orders to meet production and project timelines, and addressing any potential delays.

5. Inventory Monitoring and Order Placement:

  • Work closely with the store team to monitor inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure the continuous flow of materials and prevent shortages.

6. Reporting and Communication:

  • Generate and distribute procurement and delivery reports to the appropriate departments, ensuring clear communication of status, timelines, and any issues affecting project delivery.

7. Process Improvement and Efficiency:

  • Collaborate with management to evaluate and improve purchasing processes, systems, and workflows, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline operations.

8. End-to-End Purchasing Management:

  • Oversee the entire purchasing process, from material requisition (MR) to purchase order (PO) closure in the system, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of each step.

9. Managerial Reporting and Support:

  • Provide weekly updates to the manager on procurement activities, highlighting any issues or challenges, and perform any additional tasks as assigned to support the team and project goals.

 

Job Qualification:

  1. Bachelor’s of Supply Chain Management or relevant field.
  2. Minimum 3 years’ of working experience in the related field is required.
  3. Preferably with purchasing knowledge or related working experience in manufacturing.
  4. Experienced in Autocount system is preferred.
  5. Familiar with ISO 9001:2015 clause related to external provider management (supplier management).
  6. Meticulous, detailed and with positive working attitude.
  7. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  8. Relationship management.
