The Process Development Engineer is responsible for researching, developing, validating, and transferring new manufacturing processes, technologies, and products from the development stage to commercial production. The role works closely with Research & Development (R&D), Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to ensure innovative solutions are scalable, cost-effective, reliable, and meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for new product development and commercialization.

·       Conduct research, feasibility studies, and proof-of-concept evaluations for new technologies, materials, and processes.

·       Design and execute experiments (DOE) to establish process parameters and performance requirements.

·       Lead process development activities from concept through pilot production and full-scale manufacturing.

·       Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and technology transfer to production.

·       Analyze process data and recommend improvements to enhance quality, yield, productivity, and cost efficiency.

·       Develop process specifications, validation protocols, and technical documentation.

·       Collaborate with R&D teams in product design reviews and manufacturability assessments.

·       Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for development and production issues.

·       Lead continuous improvement projects and innovation initiatives.

·       Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and safety policies.

·       Support intellectual property activities, including technical evaluations and patent-related documentation where applicable.

Job Qualification:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
  2. At least 3 years working experience in Manufacturing industries.
  3. Professional certification in Lean Six Sigma, Project Management, or Quality Engineering is preferred.
  4. Experienced in New Product Introduction (NPI) and technology transfer processes.
  5. Ability to manage multiple development projects simultaneously.
