Job Responsibilities:

  1. Network & Systems Support: Provide advanced (2nd level) support for network administration, hardware and software installation, maintenance, and implementation of PCs, servers, SAN storage, LAN/WAN/VPN  infrastructure, and Data Center upkeep.
  2. Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with vendors to ensure project implementation aligns with specifications, quality standards, and agreed timelines.
  3. Backup & Recovery: Oversee regular backups of servers, network, and infrastructure configurations; periodically verify and test backup and recovery procedures.
  4. IT Project Management: Manage IT projects, ensuring alignment with resource availability, timelines, and stakeholder requirements.
  5. System Monitoring: Monitor PCs, networks, Data Centers, LAN/WAN/VPN security, and system resources (CPU, RAM, disk space, Telco lines, server racks, Data Center humidity, temperature) using monitoring tools to ensure optimal performance.
  6. System & Infrastructure Enhancement: Continuously review and enhance systems and infrastructure to ensure security, efficiency, and alignment with business requirements.
  7. Team Leadership: Supervise, lead, and coach team members to meet KPIs and support organizational goals.
  8. Inventory & Licensing Management: Ensure proper control of IT inventory and software licensing to maintain compliance and support future needs.
  9. Preventive Maintenance: Plan, schedule, implement, and assess preventive maintenance for all IT equipment to minimize downtime.
  10. Contract & Warranty Management: Track, renew, and manage hardware and software maintenance agreements and warranties.
  11. Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery: Review, develop, and improve the organization’s Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and disaster recovery strategy.
  12. Service Transition Coordination: Collaborate with IT Support & Services teams to facilitate a smooth, effective service transition process.
  13. Talent Development: Lead, manage, and appraise IT staff to align with IT objectives, fostering an environment for growth and innovation.
  14. Process Automation & Technology Advancement: Identify opportunities for IT process automation and recommend new technologies to drive efficiencies.
  15. Ad-Hoc Duties: Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by Management.

 

 

Job Qualification:

  1. Degree / Diploma in Computer Science or related field.
  2. Preferable at least 5 years of working experience in the related field required for this position
  3. Knowledge of ISO 9001 & ISO 14001
  4. Knowledge of Data Centre Operations
  5. Must be able to carry out technical support and implementation work
  6. Excellent skills and experience in servers, WAN, LAN (wired and wireless), data backup and recovery, firewalls, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, VMware, End Point Protection, Veeam
  7. Proactive and self-motivated.
  8. Trusted and obedient
  9. Good Adaptability
  10. Good interpersonal, communications and presentation skills
